  • BOTOX®

BOTOX® Cosmetic is a nonsurgical, physician-administered aesthetic treatment for moderate to severe frown lines between the brows in people younger than 65 years of age. BOTOX® Cosmetic works by reducing the contractions of the muscles that cause those persistent frown lines that have developed over time. Results last up to four months.

  • RADIESSE®

RADIESSE® dermal filler replaces lost collagen and volume in the face, giving us full cheeks and the firm skin of youth. RADIESSE® does more than just "fill in" lines and facial wrinkles - it replenishes volume and stimulates the production of your own natural collagen with results that last up to a year or more.

  • JUVÉDERM®

JUVÉDERM® is a smooth consistency gel made of hyaluronic acid - a naturally occurring substance in your skin that helps add volume and hydration to the skin. JUVÉDERM® is injected under the skin to instantly restore skin's volume and smooth away facial wrinkles and folds - like your "smile lines" or "parenthesis" that run from the bottom of your nose to the corners of your mouth. Results last up to one year. JUVÉDERM® is now formulated with an anesthetic for a more comfortable patient experience.

  • RESTYLANE®

  • Restylane is a gel formulation that helps restore volume and fullness to the skin to correct moderate to severe facial wrinkles and folds, such as the lines from your nose to the corners of your mouth(nasolabial folds), laugh lines, marionette lines, and lipstick lines.  The gel formulation is made up of hyaluronic acid; a naturally occurring substance in the body.  This substance in your skin helps to provide fullness and elasticity.  Followup treatments are recommended after 4.5 months.

  • IPL Photorejuvenation

  • Ipl photorejuvenation delivered by the Lumenis One laser is a treatment used to treat Spider Veins, Age Spots, Sun Spots, Sun Damage, Mottled Pigmentation, Ruddy Complexion, Freckles, and Rosacea.  The Lumenis One delivers a special range of wavelengths of light in customizable pulses through a sapphire tip gently onto your skin.  The light is absorbed either superficially by broken capillaries and dark pigment or deeper by larger vessels and collagen.  Dilated capillaries coagulate, pigmented lesions darken and then slough off and new collagen fibers are laid down, giving the skin renewed and more youthful appearance.

    • The Lumenis One system can be used to treat any area of the body.  The most common areas are the face, neck, chest, and hands.  Each treatment takes approximately 20 minutes.  In general, excellent long term results can be achieved with a series of four to six treatments.

    • Laser Spider Vein Therapy

    • A medical laser is used to provide a safe and non-surgical treatment for the removal of Spider and Varicose Veins.  Our new, advanced laser treatments allow us to deliver a precise dosage of energy to each vein.  During your treatment, light energy is delivered through a special laser handpiece to the targeted vein, in a series of brief pulses.  The light energy is absorbed by the blood vessels, but not the surrounding tissue.  This heat absorption causes a coagulation of the blood vessel, which is subsequently absorbed by your body.

    • The number of treatments required varies with the depth of each vein.  For maximum long-term resolution, multiple treatments may be necessary.  However, if new veins appear, additional treatments are required.  Treatments may be in three to four week intervals.

    • Laser Hair Removal

    • A medical laser is used to kill unwanted hair by targeting the melanin in the hair follicle disabling the hair from further growth.  Hair removal lasers use low-energy settings to gently disable unwanted hair, thus putting an end to routine shaving and waxing.  These treatments leave your skin looking and feeling smoother and silkier.

    • Because lasers scan the skin rather than treating one hair at a time, it is possible to treat lager areas such as the back, shoulders, arms, legs, face, and neck.  Best of all, this is a safe, fast, gentle, and effective alternative method for hair removal.

    • The number of treatments you may require for optimal long-term benefits depends on the area you wish to have treated, the density and your hair's growth cycle.  Your hair grows in cycles and many factors influence its growth.  Age ethnicity, weight, hormones, diets, medication and metabolism all play a part in your hair's location, thickness and resilience.  Multiple treatments will be required to deliver optimal results.

What To Expect

  • The Day of Your Appointment

Arrive a few minutes before your appointment to fill out the necessary forms. You will be consulted by a doctor, physician's assistant, or industry professional. You will be recommended the best method of treatment to meet your aesthetic expectations and may also be asked about any allergies or conditions that wouldn't make you a good candidate for BOTOX® or other injectables.

  • Before the Procedure

You will be seated in a reclining chair, and although no anesthesia is required, your doctor or physician's assistant may choose to numb the area with a cold pack or anesthetic cream.

  • During the Procedure

Your doctor or physician's assistant will determine where to administer the injections. For BOTOX® Cosmetic injections, this will be determined by your ability to move certain muscles in your brow area. This procedure takes approximately 10 minutes.

For the JUVÉDERM® and RADIESSE® procedures, your health care professional will examine the soft tissue of your face to assess the depth of wrinkles and folds to determine your treatment. The procedure takes approximately 30 minutes.

  • After the BOTOX® Procedure

After the BOTOX® Cosmetic procedure, there is no recovery time needed. You are ready to get on with your day. The most common side effects following injection include localized pain, tenderness, swelling, redness, bleeding and bruising at the injection site. Less likely side effects include infection, temporary eyelid drooping and nausea. Patients with certain neuromuscular disorders, such as ALS, myasthenia gravis, or Lambert-Eaton Syndrome may be at increased risk of serious side effects.

  • After the JUVÉDERM® Procedure

After the JUVÉDERM® procedure, there is minimal recovery or downtime. For the first 24 hours following treatment, you should avoid strenuous exercise, excessive sun or heat exposure, and consumption of alcoholic beverages in order to help minimize the risks of temporary redness, swelling, and/or itching at the treatment sites. After the treatment, some temporary injection-related reactions may occur, including redness, pain, firmness, swelling and bumps. Studies have shown that these are usually mild to moderate in nature and clear up on their own in 7 days or less. If you experience swelling at the injection site, you can apply an ice pack for a brief period. Your health care professional will tell you when makeup may be applied after your treatment.

  • After the RADIESSE® Procedure

After the RADIESSE® procedure, there is minimal recovery or downtime. Results are fully evident within one week. RADIESSE® dermal filler is made from a biocompatible substance that's identical to what is found naturally in the body. There is virtually no risk of allergic reaction and few side effects. There may be minimal swelling, which usually subsides in 24 to 36 hours. There may also be some discomfort and bruising. The discomfort can be managed with medications. Normal activities can be resumed immediately; however, patients are advised to stay out of the sun.
